About Brendan
I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and moved to Nashville in 2015 via Austin, TX. After graduating from Emerson College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production Stage Management, I honed my craft as a Tour Manager / Production Manager for 13 years in the music industry. I worked with major artists, large festivals, touring vendors, music venues, and management companies in many capacities. I was able to lead large teams all over the world while successfully managing my clients’ main source of business revenue. During this time period, I realized that there is a large gap between most business management companies and their clients. I possess real world experience, having toured 300 days a year and applying theories and practices learned in business school to real life. With this epiphany, in 2013 I started my own company as a business manager and consultant while on the road. I have been able to bring my hard-earned experience on the road and combine it with my vast network along with Vanderbilt’s highly ranked M.B.A. program, from which I am slated to graduate in 2023.
During 2020, when the pandemic hit the music industry hard, I was integral in developing survival strategies for my business management clients, and consulted with many others. I helped my clients successfully navigate over a million dollars in PPP, EIDL, SVOG, and other programs. Every business that I work and/or consulted for has not only survived the hardships of Covid-19 but are now thriving.
In the past 13 years I have had the privilege to work with the following artists, companies, and festivals: Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Judah & the Lion, Mat Kearney, Jewel, Dan Tyminski, Kelsea Ballerini, AC Entertainment, Pilgrimage Festival, High Water Festival, Crystal Coast Music Festival, Braun Brother Reunion, House of Blues, Live Nation, AEG, Micky and the Motorcars, Boston Lyric Opera, and many more. I have been integral in helping my clients obtain successful high-profile performances with: The Grammys, The Country Music Awards, The BBC, Disney Awards, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and many more.
My goal is to work with like-minded clients and celebrate business growth together, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While I specialize in the music industry my breadth of experience and clients are quickly expanding into other human experience businesses! In my free time I love to hike with the dogs, camp, ski, climb, home-brew, travel (my last trip was in Japan!), and be with my family.
